Title: Process Control Engineer Location:Lexington, MA

Job Description:

• Perform day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming of process control systems for batch and continuous operations, including utilities and ancillary facilities.
• Work across multiple automation platforms, ranging from legacy systems (Allen Bradley, Foxboro, Modicon) to modern platforms (Emerson DeltaV).
• Direct and support Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technicians and Mechanics during equipment installation and troubleshooting tasks.
• Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for control system improvement initiatives and platform migration projects at the plant and other sites.
• Identify and resolve process control issues in collaboration with operations and process engineering teams to optimize plant performance.
• Provide after-hours on-call support as required to ensure continuous plant operation.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to maintain smooth, reliable plant operations.
• Contribute to small-scale projects, major capital projects, safety assessments, automation standardization, and alarm management improvements.
• Maintain operational technology (OT) infrastructure, including OT servers and switches, and apply regular updates, patches, and antivirus solutions.
• Demonstrate understanding of communication protocols including OPC DA/UA, ModbModbus+, Serial RS-232/485, TCP/RTU, and Prosoft.
• Apply experience in operating system migrations to support system updates and modernization.
• Minimal travel required ( 5%).
