Digital Printing Press Field Technician
Brea, CA area
We are searching for digital press operators to participate in training to gain knowledge and expertise on our client's technology. After training, you will be in a contract to hire position. During this contract you will continue to develop your knowledge and experience, becoming a SME with digital printing presses. This is a phenomenal opportunity for someone who wants to launch their career with digital presses. My client is willing to train someone with electro-mechanical field technician experience.
Responsibilities:
Do you have excellent people skills and like being in different places? The Field engineer will travel in the local metro area to customer sites to install, troubleshoot/repair, provide maintenance or remove equipment.
Typical day to day can include:
* Handle Customer-relation problems promptly and appropriately, provide guidance, advance issues according to established procedures
* Provide software service, pre- sales, post-sales support
* Deliver services to large enterprise, sophisticated or corporate accounts
* Use monitoring procedures/tools to identify problem prevention opportunities
* Experience with support of full range of client's products
Knowledge/Skills:
* Minimum Vocational/Diploma/ Associate Degree (technical field) with 3-5 years proven experience
* Electro-mechanical or digital press experience
* Strong technical and communication kills and ability to improvise
* Strong Customer relationship skills & ability to manage complex Customer problems.
* Good teamwork with peers and client personnel
* Demonstrate consistent work performance
* Schedule and participate in on-site account support meetings both internal and external
