What to expect

The Tooling Services organization is looking for a Chapter Lead supporting our Service & Asset Management Cluster, focusing on Security & Risk Management functions. Chapter Leads typically spend 50% of their time managing people within their chapter (team), and the rest of their time dedicated to technical delivery

In this role you will:
  • Be responsible for staffing, building expertise and maintaining a common approach to similar activities within your team
  • Act as a coach, building and developing team members, understanding and identifying their needs and implementing appropriate actions
  • Optimise work functions and inter-functional processes while ensuring high quality work.
  • Provide technical assistance to the team, organize knowledge transfer and orchestrate the performance management for the team members
  • Be responsible to develop and maintain best in class Engineering practices in direct support of the delivery the squad objectives
  • Be a part of the local leadership team reporting to the US Tooling Engineering Director leading change, staff development and operational excellence across the larger organization
  • Use your ServiceNow expertise and skills to accelerate the evolution of our Integrated Risk Management and Vulnerability Response Platforms and support IT Service Management, IT Operations Management and IT Asset Management offerings
  • Become the authority for Security & Risk management solutions for Swift


What will make you successful?

We are seeking professionals with:
  • University Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT/software delivery, preferably working with architectures focusing on security and SaaS delivery models
  • Demonstrable experience as a ServiceNow Developer with at least 5 years software development experience and can demonstrate strong development skills in the areas of ITSM/ITOM/GRC
  • 2+ years of experience as team lead/people manager
  • Demonstrable experience of ServiceNow system administration
  • Excellent problem solving and analytics skills, with demonstrable experience of requirements gathering and translating requirements into technical deliveries
  • Demonstrate good communication skills and be confident presenting ideas and designs to different stakeholder levels
  • Good interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with local and remote teams in different time zones


Preferred qualifications:
  • Practical working experience in an Agile driven team
  • Good understanding of governance, risk, and compliance principles and standard methodologies
  • Experience in configuring ServiceNow workflows and forms and creating ServiceNow objects. Experience with User Management including groups, users, roles, ACLs, etc.
  • Relevant certifications in ServiceNow and/or GRC (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - GRC) is a plus

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Virginia is $113,300 MINIMUM to $210,470 MAXIMUM USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
