Job Title: Senior Power Apps Developer

Summary

A rapidly evolving organization is seeking an experienced Senior Power Apps Developer to support strategic digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate is creative, adaptable, and skilled at solving complex technical and process challenges. This role requires collaboration within a geographically distributed, technically diverse Agile Scrum environment.

You will work closely with product teams, enterprise applications, product owners, cybersecurity, and other stakeholders to build, enhance, and maintain complex solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. This includes developing model-driven applications, Power Apps Portals/Power Pages, data models, and automated workflows.

As part of an Agile Scrum team, you will estimate work, write tasks and tests tied to user stories, ensure development meets standards, and support continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated solutions using Power Apps (Model-Driven Applications).

• Build client-facing websites and forms using Power Apps Portals / Power Pages.

• Maintain applications across three environments: Dev, Stage, and Prod.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to perform process modeling and implement data validation processes.

• Gather and translate data requirements from business stakeholders into technical implementations.

• Ensure workflows and application logic remain aligned with evolving business processes.

• Participate fully in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Support Business Analysts with the development and technical evaluation of requirements.

Basic Qualifications

• Active Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain one.

• Bachelor s degree with 10+ years of technical experience

  • OR 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Experience leading high-performing development teams.

• Ability to build and manage product roadmaps aligned with strategic objectives.

• Works well independently with minimal oversight.

Required Technical Skills

• Expert-level experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Model-driven Apps, Canvas Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Pages/Portals, Portal Management MDA, Power Apps Pipeline) within an Azure environment.

• Expert in building reports, graphs, and dashboards using Power BI.

• Strong experience designing and transforming Dataverse data architecture.

• Proficient in building and managing data tables in Dataverse.

• Hands-on development experience with:

  • C#

  • JavaScript

  • HTML/CSS

  • Liquid

  • FetchXML

• Expertise using Power Apps Pipeline for application lifecycle and environment management.

• Strong large-scale data modeling and data management capabilities.

• Skilled at providing customer-facing status briefings and product demonstrations.

• Ability to translate customer requirements into actionable user stories/backlog items.

• Support new feature planning and the implementation of user-requested enhancements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing data models in Dynamics 365 (A365).

• Experience building custom SharePoint applications using Power Apps.

• Ability to design and develop data exchanges per System Interface Agreements.

• Experience developing modern SharePoint Online pages.

Minimum Education & Experience

• Master s degree and 8+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be currently located in the United States.

• Must be able to obtain a Level 4 Public Trust Clearance.
