The Opportunity:

The Digital Video & Audio (DVA) team in Adobe develops industry-leading products like Premiere Pro and After Effects. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work on the development of our video processing pipeline, empowering users to create stunning visual content.

What You'll Do:
  • Work on our high-performance GPU rendering pipeline, pushing the boundaries of creative possibilities.
  • Drive the architecture, implementation, and productization of various components, features, and user experiences.
  • Leverage modern hardware capabilities to deliver buttery-smooth performance for editors.
  • Get opportunities to interact with end users in a variety of scenarios, gaining insights into their needs and refining your solutions.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams across geographies, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry developments, and actively share knowledge with the team, fueling innovation and growth.

What You Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years' experience in Software Engineering working with high-performance applications.
  • Strong proficiency in modern C++, working on a large and well-engineered codebase on Mac or Windows.
  • Functional knowledge of modern GPU architectures and related graphics interfaces (CUDA, Metal, DirectX, WebGPU, OpenCL etc.).
  • Good grasp of Operating Systems concepts & Algorithms.
  • A passion to develop performant, well-designed, data-driven software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $108,000 -- $198,500 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
