TEKsystems currently has a Desktop Support opportunity available with a client in St. Cloud, MN. This will be a 6 month contract to hire position that's on-site 100% of the time in St. Cloud, MN. Description
1. Imaging and Setup:
Perform imaging tasks for Windows 10.
Set up new employees with necessary hardware.
Knowledge of end-user computing hardware, including monitor and docking station setup.
2. Active Directory Administration:
Manage group memberships by adding and deleting users.
3. Microsoft Exchange Administration:
Forward mailboxes to users during vacations and perform various administrative tasks.
4. PC Administration:
Hold administrative rights on all workstations.
Troubleshoot and resolve user issues.
5. Ticket Queue Management:
Utilize ServiceDeskPlus from Zoho to manage ticket queues.
Handle approximately 70 tickets daily, with peak activity in the mornings.
6. Team Collaboration:
Work effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
Contribute to team efforts and assist colleagues as needed.
7. Endpoint Central Management:
Use Zoho/ManageEngine's cloud-based computer management tools.
Perform remote control tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and PC administration.
Experience with ticketing systems, preferably ServiceDeskPlus from Zoho.
Strong communication skills, especially over the phone.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Knowledge of hardware setup and imaging tasks.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
