Description
Provides implementation and ongoing operational support of HL7 integration between software systems including the primary Electronic Medical Records system and ancillary systems.
The HL7 Integration Developer collaborates with analysts/engineers/developers for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of HL7, Web Services and other integration services using enterprise integration engine platforms. This position implements new application data integrations by documenting requirements, developing interfaces and conducting testing. Performs post-implementation interface related activities including interface monitoring, issue resolution, develops enhancements and supports upgrade activities. Experience preferred with Intersystems Ensemble/IRIS and Epic Bridges.
Position Compensation Range: $37.47 - $59.95 Hourly
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's Degree desired but not required.
Experience: 3 years of HL7 design/implementation and hospital workflow experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Licensure: Intersystems or other enterprise interface engine certification desired but not required. Epic Bridges, Data Courier, Chronicles Programmer or Non-Programmer certification desired but not required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings.
