responsibilities:


  • Strategic IT Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive 3-5 year IT roadmap, ensuring technology aligns directly with our growth objectives and contributes measurably to key business metrics like revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive the operationalization of IT processes across the corporate environment, ensuring our IT capabilities are agile and responsive to evolving business needs.
  • Technology Innovation & Management: Evaluate emerging and existing technologies, providing executive-level advice on cost-effectiveness and competitive advantages. You'll oversee the design, development, and maintenance of critical systems and software, and lead the deployment of company-wide technology standards.
  • Security & Infrastructure Oversight: Take full ownership of our network infrastructure, ensuring robust security, regulatory compliance, and comprehensive disaster recovery planning. You'll safeguard proprietary data and maintain complete backup systems.
  • People & Department Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing IT team, driving their development, performance, and overall success. You'll be the ultimate owner of your department's vision, strategic plan, and overall results, serving as a scorecard holder for key business goals.
  • Financial & Business Acumen: Independently create and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence. Leverage strong data and analytics skills to inform critical business decisions and drive impactful outcomes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration and interdependence with other functional and operational teams, building strong relationships to achieve overarching business goals.
  • Safety & Culture Champion: Uphold our strong safety culture, leading by example and driving a philosophy of "ZERO incidents." You'll also influence engagement in our culture of community, wellness, development, and inclusion.


qualifications:


  • Executive IT Leadership: 10+ years of progressive experience leading an entire functional department within a corporate IT group.
  • Strategic & Financial Acumen: Advanced business and financial acumen with the ability to independently create and execute strategic business plans and manage complex budgets.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong working knowledge of cloud technologies (governance, security), server administration, network operations centers, and experience integrating and managing medium to large data center or cloud environments (Microsoft Servers, virtualization, common networking architectures, enterprise-grade firewall/router/switch technologies, SAN).
  • Problem-Solving & Innovation: Highly organized, solution-oriented, and adept at complex problem-solving.
