Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in a high-volume, cutting-edge EV manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime, optimizing OEE, implementing world-class preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and driving data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong background in PLCs, automation, data analytics, and leadership of large technical teams.

You Will
  • Lead and manage a maintenance team of 200+ technicians and engineers, ensuring efficient operations across multiple shifts.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive maintenance strategy to maximize equipment availability and efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence within the maintenance organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and quality to align maintenance goals with business objectives.
  • Drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Implement Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM) programs utilizing advanced technologies such as condition monitoring, AI-driven analytics, and machine learning.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode analysis to drive permanent corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and internal standards for safety and reliability.
  • Oversee Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems, automation networks, and industrial software to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Provide troubleshooting expertise for PLC-controlled systems, robotic cells, and automated production lines.
  • Partner with controls engineers to optimize automation processes and minimize downtime.
  • Utilize data-driven decision-making to monitor equipment performance, analyze trends, and drive actionable insights.
  • Implement and leverage Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, downtime, and asset performance.
  • Drive Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize maintenance processes and reduce costs.

You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (master's preferred)
  • 10+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive, EV, or industrial automation.
  • Proven expertise in PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.), OEE optimization, PM/PdM programs, and reliability engineering.
  • Strong experience with data analytics, CMMS, and automation systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and scale large maintenance teams in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
