Job Details
UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Product Owner / Business Analyst to lead innovation and manage end-to-end product development and support. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to drive product delivery in a fast-paced Agile environment. Candidates should be prepared to work on-site 3 days per week in Long-Island City, NY.

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a lead Product Owner or Business Analyst
- At least 5 years of IT experience in roles as a BA and or Product Owner
- Expert knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong experience in gathering requirements and documenting complex business processes
- Excellent communication, presentation, and articulation skills
- Detail-oriented, collaborative team player with strong soft skills and adherence to structured processes
- Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analytics, design/UX, engineering, and user enablement
- Operate in an Agile environment, regularly refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and assessing risks and opportunities
- Partner with stakeholders to help define product vision, strategy, and feature prioritization
- Own and maintain the product roadmap as needed
- Assist in designing the internal and external user experience, including system support and monitoring
- Prioritize and manage the sprint backlog for assigned products to meet stakeholder needs
- Lead the functional design process grounded in user knowledge and technical constraints
- Track and report on product performance metrics to support data-driven investment decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
