Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone with a strong background in IT project management and Agile methodologies. You will play a key role in delivering projects successfully, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that all deliverables meet specified timelines and quality standards.
Implement Agile Scrum methodologies to enhance project efficiency and team collaboration.
Utilize Atlassian tools, such as Jira, to track project progress and manage workflows effectively.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment on project objectives.
Monitor and manage project risks, promptly addressing issues that could impact outcomes.
Prepare and present detailed project reports, providing insights and updates to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate regular team meetings, including sprint planning and retrospective sessions.
Collaborate with leadership to define project priorities and allocate resources appropriately.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management processes.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT project management.
Proven expertise in Agile Scrum methodologies.
PMP Certification is highly preferred.
Proficiency in using Atlassian tools, particularly Jira.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
Solid understanding of project management principles and best practices.
