Job Details

The Identity Access Management (IAM) Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that manage user identities and access controls across an organization's applications and networks. This role ensures proper security and compliance by defining and enforcing access policies. The IAM Engineer will utilize automation tools to streamline processes and troubleshoot issues related to user access and identity management. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in IAM engineering or a similar role. He she must have a good understanding of Identity Access Management concepts and best practices, experience with IAM platforms like Okta, Azure Active Directory (Entra), etc., and experience with on premise Active Directory and AD Federated Services.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Education: Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework

Experience: Five years of related experience. Requires broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures.

Qualification

*Associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field required.

*Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

*Proven experience in IAM engineering or a similar role.

*Understanding of Identity Access Management concepts and best practices.

*Experience with IAM platforms like Okta, Azure Active Directory (Entra), etc.

*Experience with on premise Active Directory and AD Federated Services.

*Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.

*Experience with authentication methods in a variety of applications and systems.

*Experience with API integrations and RESTful services.

*Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

*Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, PowerShell for automation.

*Knowledge of security protocols like SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect.

*Familiarity with database management systems and SQL.

*Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

*Ability to collaborate with IT teams across different departments
