Business Analyst PeopleSoft FSCM

Contract: 6-12 months

Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid must already reside in the Austin area for consideration)

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst to support a project focused on PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, particularly the Accounts Receivable and Billing modules. The ideal candidate understands business needs, analyzes complex systems, and proposes effective technical solutions to improve efficiency and automation.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2
  • 8+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Accounts Receivable and Billing modules
  • 8+ years in requirements gathering and conducting fit-gap analysis with subject matter experts
  • 8+ years performing hands-on end-to-end system integration testing with third-party interfaces
  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • 2+ years working with MS Teams in a large, collaborative environment
  • Experience working with public sector organizations (Federal, State, or Local Government)
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)
  • Experience with SharePoint, Jira, STAT, and Scrum framework

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business objectives and operational procedures to identify problems and develop solutions
  • Work with stakeholders to understand data inputs, reporting requirements, and processing needs
  • Write detailed functional specifications and documentation for system modifications or new development
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and map data between legacy systems and third-party interfaces
  • Perform hands-on integration and system testing
  • Collaborate with a remote project team and support training and documentation tasks
