Sr. Firmware Engineer

We are currently looking for experienced Firmware Engineers to join a global team that is looking to expand their national presence in the greater Indianapolis Area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Creating system designs, making architectural decisions, and implementing code. This position is partly responsible for the technical growth of the group and requires mentorship, guidance on best practices, and design reviews to ensure only the highest quality of implementations.

This position will be dynamic and changing according to project needs. Writing and reviewing functional specifications based on business requirements, writing code, documenting code, testing, and validating, or supporting products in the field are all within scope of this position.

MUST HAVES & REQUIREMENTS:

• B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• Experience using C++ in embedded systems applications
• Experience in the full software development cycle, including design, documentation, development, testing, and support
• Linux
• CAN Communication protocols
