We deliver essential technological services to our customers in support of their missions to sustain the national security and economic interest of our nation. SecuriGence is seeking an experienced Atlassian Developer to design, create and maintain a full suite of Atlassian products.

Responsibilities
  • Configure, operate, and automate these platforms, managing user permissions, and building custom solutions to meet specific needs. This often includes developing scripts and integrations, creating custom workflows and dashboards, and providing training to users.
  • Administer, configure, and maintain DARPA's deployed Atlassian products: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira Service Management (JSM - DARPAs Support ticketing system), Crowd.
  • Manage DARPA's user access, permissions, and security schemes within the Atlassian suite.
  • Perform regular health checks, monitoring, and performance tuning of Atlassian applications.
  • Plan and execute upgrades, patching, and migrations of Atlassian products.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Atlassian applications and integrations.
  • Configure workflows, screens, fields, and notifications in Jira to meet business requirements.
  • Customize Confluence spaces, templates, and permissions for effective collaboration.
  • Configure DARPA JSM projects, request types, SLAs, and automation rules.
  • Develop and implement custom scripts, Groovy runners, or other automation solutions within the Atlassian ecosystem.
  • Integrate Atlassian products with other business systems and tools using APIs and connectors.
  • Develop and maintain custom add-ons or plugins for DARPA's Atlassian applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., development, project management, IT support) to understand DARPA needs and provide Atlassian solutions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to DARPA end-users on how to effectively utilize Atlassian tools.
  • Create and maintain documentation for DARPA's Atlassian configurations, processes, and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required OR
  • Associates degree with an additional 2 years of experience
  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience developing within Atlassian products
  • Active IAT Level II certification or IAM Level I or IASAE Level I certification
  • TS/SCI required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • In-depth understanding of the Atlassian product suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, etc.), including architecture, configuration, and administrative capabilities.
  • Capable of developing custom workflows, plugins, and integrations using Atlassian REST APIs, Script Runner, and Forge or Connect frameworks.
  • Ability to tailor Atlassian tools to support various frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and streamline CI/CD pipelines through integration with development tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
