Role purpose/ summary:

The Senior Mastering Editor will be responsible for a leadership role in handling advanced editing tasks, preparing final assets for delivery, and ensuring content meets both creative and technical standards. This role requires a blend of editing expertise and technical proficiency, focusing on online editing, mastering, audio specs, and file preparation for various distribution platforms. The Mastering Editor will collaborate with client facing teams to ensure assets are delivered on time and to spec, while also troubleshooting any technical issues during the process.

Essential qualifications:

8+ years of experience in video/audio editing, online editing, or mastering.

Strong proficiency in Non-Linear Editing systems

Extensive experience in encoding, transcoding, and finalizing assets for broadcast and digital distribution.

Solid understanding of technical specs, file formats, and industry standards for AV content.

Experience in handling advanced AV formats.

Proficient in color grading, audio mixing, and other post production techniques.

Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with multiple teams to resolve problems efficiently.

Experience with quality control processes.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
