Job Title: Learning and Development Specialist Pharma Operations
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Location: Remote (EST TIME ZONE)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Learning Designer to support an integration project within pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing engaging training resources, including e-learnings, instructor-led training (ILT) materials, and visual content to support system adoption and business readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop training content including ILTs, e-learning modules, and videos to support IT system implementations in a manufacturing environment

  • Translate complex system and process information into simple, engaging training materials

  • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather content and validate accuracy

  • Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theory to develop effective training

  • Manage multiple training deliverables simultaneously, ensuring projects are completed on time and to quality standards

  • Consult with business stakeholders to align learning materials with both learner needs and operational goals

  • Lead and execute training projects independently when required

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree (BA/BS)

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in instructional design or Learning & Development, ideally within IT, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical sectors

  • Proven ability to create ILTs, e-learnings, and videos using tools such as:

    • Articulate Storyline

    • Adobe Creative Cloud

    • Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint for visual design)

  • Strong visual and instructional design skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrated ability to simplify technical content for diverse learner audiences

  • Solid project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities

  • Analytical thinking and self-motivated work style
