Location: Oklahoma, USA(Initially 4weeks at client location then REMOTE)

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture & Strategy
- Define and evolve future-state enterprise architecture across business, technology, and integration domains.
- Translate strategic business goals into enterprise-level architectural plans and domain-specific blueprints.
- Facilitate the creation of target operating models and business capability maps tailored to L&A.
Business & Technical Capability Development
- Develop and maintain business capability models to support product innovation, underwriting, policy administration, and surrounding processes.
- Collaborate with IT and business leaders to define and map technical capabilities that enable business strategy.
- Identify capability gaps and propose initiatives to build or mature key capabilities.
Roadmap Planning & Prioritization
- Partner with portfolio and program management teams to align architecture deliverables with enterprise roadmaps.
- Support the development of multi-year transformation roadmaps, with clear prioritization of initiatives based on business value, architectural alignment, and technical feasibility.
- Facilitate architectural governance and investment planning across change portfolios.
Integration Architecture
- Define high-level integration patterns and future-state integration architecture between core L&A systems, digital platforms, and third-party services.
- Ensure architectural solutions enable interoperability, scalability, and compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards.
Required skills & Experience:
- 14+ years of experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture, or strategy roles.
- 5+ years of experience in the Life and Annuity insurance domain is required.
- Demonstrated experience defining future-state architecture and capability roadmaps in insurance.
- Strong knowledge of core L&A processes: product development, new business, underwriting, policy admin, billing, claims, servicing.
- Familiarity with technology platforms used in L&A: PAS (e.g., EIS, ALIP, OIPA), CRM, BPM, data platforms, APIs.
- Experience with integration strategies and patterns (e.g., API-first, event-driven architecture).
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
