Job Title: SAP Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) Technical Lead

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) Technical Lead, bridging communication between the CIO, IT infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to deliver platform solutions aligned with business needs.
• Facilitate collaboration and communication among leadership, program directors, managers, technical directors, developers, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure timely and effective solution delivery.
• Lead the planning, development, and execution of complex IT infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Drive re-platforming initiatives through partnership with cross-functional internal teams.
• Combine strategic leadership and technical expertise to support IT transformation and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with key staff and stakeholders to assess and understand the current and future state of complex information systems.
• Develop short- and long-term IT infrastructure strategies that align with the organization s evolving business requirements.
• Apply platform architecture principles to implement new services and enhance existing platform capabilities.
• Establish and oversee capacity and availability management processes to maintain service continuity during major transitions.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for complex application delivery and provide I&O support from an applications perspective.
• Provide strategic and operational technical leadership in infrastructure and operations management.
• Advise organizational leadership and business partners on business and technical architecture, and contribute to the development and improvement of ITSM processes such as:
• Incident Management
• Problem Management
• Service Level Management
• Change Management
• Asset and Configuration Management
• Service Catalog and Continuity Management
• Ensure secure network configurations pre-deployment and post-deployment in compliance with MARS-E standards.

Education and Certification:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)

Required Experience:

• 20+ years of experience coordinating and implementing complex IT architecture projects with a focus on infrastructure and operations.
• 15+ years in managing large-scale, multi-tenant environments, cloud services, and vendor relationships.
• 15+ years leading re-platforming initiatives with strategic oversight.
• 15+ years of experience in enhancing service delivery within I&O domains.
• 15+ years of vendor management experience.
• 10+ years improving organizational maturity across verticals.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• 15+ years designing and implementing IT policies and fostering organizational culture aligned with security frameworks such as:
• MARS-E 2.0
• NIST 800-53
• HIPAA
• SC DIS-200
• Strong background in enterprise applications and service delivery with a focus on compliance and cybersecurity.
• Proven expertise in designing secure systems and networks to meet regulatory and business standards.
• Experienced in leading organizational change and managing process improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency with collaboration and project management tools including:
• Microsoft SharePoint
• Project Web App (PWA)
• JIRA
• Confluence
