Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position
Key Responsibilities:
- Codes, tests, integrates, and documents software solutions.
- Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data.
- Participates in internal review of software components and systems.
- Collaborates with project leaders and other professionals within the Engineering department.
- Researches, designs, develops, and tests software and tools.
- Researches and analyzes data to determine feasibility of design or application.
- Keeps abreast of technology trends and champions new ideas and product and process improvements.
- Receives limited instructions from immediate supervisor.
- Works on complex problems with ambiguous or undefined challenges that drive innovation.
- Applies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to the
development of complex software and architectures. - May provide work direction to other employees as a technical lead.
- Performs analysis for all levels of total system product to include concept, design, architecture, user
experience, test, installation, operation, maintenance. - Responsible to define the scope, schedule, and expectations for the work they execute or lead.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong proficiency in coding, testing, integrating, and documenting software solutions.
- Ability to follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data.
- Strong collaboration skills with project leaders and other professionals.
- Competence in research, design, development, and testing of software and tools.
- Application of principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong working knowledge of software engineering concepts, principles, and theories
