Key Responsibilities



  • Primary Support: Act as the go-to expert for Epic Ambulatory applications, providing timely support and troubleshooting for end-users (15%).
  • Workflow Design: Guide the design, building, and testing of Epic systems to meet clinical and operational workflow needs (10%).
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve system issues, collaborating with other application teams as needed (10%).
  • Change Management: Implement requested system changes to ensure alignment with end-user requirements (5%).
  • Liaison Role: Bridge communication between end-users, Epic representatives, and the healthcare organization to ensure system functionality and project deliverables meet business needs (15%).
  • Collaboration: Work with Epic representatives through weekly project meetings and engage with stakeholders to align system capabilities with organizational goals (10%).
  • Training and Support: Participate in end-user training, site visits, and validation sessions to enhance system adoption and operational efficiency (10%).
  • Project Management: Monitor project status, communicate updates to leadership, and coordinate with team members on deliverables, budgets, and milestones (10%).
  • On-Call Duties: Provide on-call support for urgent issues, including system malfunctions, ensuring prompt resolution regardless of time or day (5%).
  • Continuous Improvement: Assess operational needs through site visits and integrated sessions to drive workflow optimization (10%).
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service, adapting methods to meet diverse user needs with courtesy, respect, and professionalism (10%).
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support team objectives (5%).

Requirements (Must-Haves)



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, or a related field (relevant work experience may substitute for degree).
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in complex systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with project leadership, end-users, and technical teams.
  • Analytical mindset with logical problem-solving abilities to address system and workflow challenges.
  • Willingness to work on-call, including evenings and weekends, and flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Preferences (Nice-to-Haves)



  • Experience as an Epic Application Analyst, ideally with Ambulatory module expertise.
  • Background in a healthcare setting, with familiarity in clinical workflows.
  • Prior Epic certification or completion of Epic training programs.
  • Experience with project management or coordinating system implementations.
