Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of launch support hardware. This role involves working on mechanical components and mechanisms critical to launch systems, with a focus on model-based design and precision engineering.

Description:
Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of launch support hardware. This role involves working on mechanical components and mechanisms critical to launch systems, with a focus on model-based design and precision engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Design and test mechanical components and mechanisms for launch systems.
- Support design reviews and implement design modifications as needed.
- Apply model-based definition practices using DSR6.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity and manufacturability.
- Participate in tooling and MGSE (Mechanical Ground Support Equipment) development.
- Travel may be required based on program needs (less than 10%).
- Proficiency in CREO for mechanical design.
- Experience with DSR6 model-based definition methodology.
- Strong understanding of mechanical mechanisms.
- Familiarity with welded steel structures and AWS D17.1 specifications.
- Experience with tooling and MGSE.
- Background in welding and weld inspection standards.
