IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

 

Our client is looking for a Business Analyst. The client is focused on public safety through the custody and supervision of those in care.

Tasks
  • Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and configuring projects related to the support of the client Health and Behavior Solutions COMPAS team. COMPAS is the State of Wisconsin s case management and decision support tool utilized by Case Managers.
  • Serve as a member of the COMPAS Core Team staff, which includes Department employees from the Bureau of Technology Management, the EMR Project Office, staff from the other program divisions, and the COMPAS private vendor.
  • Works closely with the working group to help identify areas of optimization and improved business processes for workflows within COMPAS.
  • Execute the build and testing required to deliver effective COMPAS optimizations and upgrades.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work with business teams and good communication and presentation skills
  • Follow Good Documentation Practice.

 

NOTE: Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. First day in-office, then 100% remote in the State of Wisconsin.

 

 

Location: Madison, WI (Remote from within the State of WI)

Skills Required:
  • 5+ years - Business Analyst role supporting the software lifecycle
  • 5+ years - Maintaining vendor-managed software and supporting application upgrades.
  • 5+ years - Implementing software configurations and enabling application enhancements.
  • 5+ years - Working with Business users and external stakeholders to identify process improvements and optimizations.
  • 5+ years - Experience in interacting with customers and resolving application helpdesk tickets and service requests
  • 5+ years - Experience in creating test case documents, performing regression testing and supporting UAT
  • 5+ years - Ability to create business communication documents
  • Experience with SQL.
  • BA experience with the ability to understand and document Business requirements
  • Experience in User Acceptability Testing, running regression tests on systems, and identifying, designing, and optimizing new and existing test cases.
Skills Desired A plus to have:
  • Experience in Agile environment and System development
  • Experience with Test script maintenance and Test automation using Selenium or other automated testing tool (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of vendor-based application release cycle and ticket management
  • Experience in change management systems
  • Ability to identify integration points.
  • Knowledge of reporting and dashboards maintenance
  • Experience in process improvements and IT systems integration.
  • JIRA experience.
