Job Details

ECS is seeking an IT Engineering Manager to work in our Washington, DC office . Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Description:
  • Significant experience building scalable, fault-tolerant, and robust products and platforms.
  • Hands-on work experience supervising 20+ personnel in a technical environment.
  • Experience with systems architecture, developing solutions and implementing them on federal programs.
  • Strong project management skills, with proven success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Deep understanding of data center hardware technologies such as Compute Nodes, Network and hyper converged INF, Connectivity Devices and Storage Devices.


Required Skills:
  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience in leading the engineering and implementation of highly complex IT Projects and Programs.
  • An appropriate mix of certifications and qualifications in IT Technologies, Agile Practices and Project Management.
  • Proven experience with managing using Dev Ops concepts.
  • Demonstrated Experience designing mission critical LAN/WAN/CSP infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and effective written and verbal communications skills.


Desired Skills:
  • Experience working at DHS federal agency program.
  • and system design knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing technologies, IT INF, AI/ML and networking concepts.
  • Deep understanding of and experience with open-source technologies, open hardware, disaggregated computing, and high-performance computer environments.
