Role: Sr. Full Stack Engineer - AWS Connect
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain a scalable, cloud-native contact center platform using AWS Connect and supporting services.
- Build clean, maintainable code in React (frontend) and Node.js/TypeScript (backend) within a microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, DevOps, and security teams to ensure systems meet high standards of reliability, performance, and compliance.
- Proactively troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and support ongoing platform stability.
- Participate in code reviews and uphold enterprise engineering best practices, including security, test coverage, and design patterns.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, technical implementations in partnership with product and UX teams.
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2-5 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, preferably in enterprise-scale environments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Connect, including contact flows, integrations, and operational configurations.
- Strong proficiency with React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native principles and hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
- Experience with front-end standards (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), and state management libraries like Redux.
- Familiarity with secure API design, system monitoring, and operational excellence in production systems.
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills, especially in cross-functional, distributed teams.
- Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other container/orchestration tools.
- Background in voice systems, IVRs, chatbots, or customer service platforms.
- Understanding of enterprise compliance (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA) and secure development practices.
