Position: Senior MES Engineer
Location: Raleigh, NC
Job Type: On site

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Design, develop, and implement MES solutions, acting as the project lead or team lead.
- Interact with clients to gather requirements and deliver high-quality MES systems.
- Oversee all project phases from concept to commissioning, ensuring alignment with Life Sciences regulations (GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, etc.).
- Lead project teams, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery.
- Integrate MES with external systems (e.g., DeltaV, SAP, LIMS, PI, Maximo).
- Design compliant EBR recipes using standards like GAMP5, ISA S88, and S95.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence across the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Applied Sciences.
- 10+ years of MES experience with platforms like Werum PAS-X, Sepasoft, or POMS.
- Proven track record with MES project lifecycle in Life Sciences.
- Strong understanding of GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and regulated manufacturing practices.
- Hands-on with SQL, Oracle, and system interfaces.
- Familiar with IT/OT networking, warehouse/inventory systems, and reporting tools.
- Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with historian technology.
- Prior consulting or customer-facing experience.
- PMP or related project management exposure.
