Job Summary
The Workstation Support Analyst III will support the Digital Workplace Services (DWS) team, working exclusively within the Windows desktop environment. This role serves as a System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Administrator, responsible for application packaging, deployment, patching, and maintenance across a large enterprise environment. The position supports internal users across multiple locations and works closely with the End User Computing (EUC) Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as SCCM Administrator for enterprise application packaging, deployment, patching, and maintenance
- Design, build, manage, and maintain Windows OS images for large-scale corporate environments
- Implement and troubleshoot desktop deployment and imaging automation (task sequences, unattended installs)
- Package and deploy enterprise applications using SCCM
- Manage and enforce Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for OS and application security
- Troubleshoot Windows OS level issues including registry, drivers, and imaging failures
- Investigate and resolve complex workstation, deployment, and imaging-related issues
- Develop and maintain desktop engineering standards and best practices
- Evaluate new desktop and endpoint technologies for enterprise use
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to other IT teams
- Automate fixes to reduce recurring desktop and imaging issues
Required Skills & Experience
1. SCCM Administration
- 3+ years hands-on experience with:
- Application packaging & deployment
- Patch management
- SCCM maintenance in enterprise environments

2. OS Imaging (Critical)
- Strong experience with Windows OS imaging, including:
- Creating and maintaining gold/master images
- OS upgrades, refreshes, and migrations
- Task sequences and automated imaging workflows

- Experience supporting large corporate environments
3. Windows Desktop Expertise
- Windows 10 / Windows 11 support
- Understanding of:
- Windows registry
- Driver management
- Silent/unattended OS installs

4. Group Policy (GPO)
- Hands-on experience implementing:
- Security policies
- OS and application configurations using GPO

Preferred :

- Desktop Engineering / EUC background

- PowerShell or scripting for deployment and automation

- Endpoint security and OS hardening experience

- SCCM / MECM or Microsoft desktop certifications

Education / Certification
- Technical certification or equivalent hands-on experience
- Education substitution allowed:
- 1 year of relevant college education = 9 months of experience
- Up to a 4-year bachelor's degree (Business / Information Systems) may substitute for required experience
