Job Description:
This role will be supporting our clients Packaging group and will join the Systems Engineering, Integration and Testing team. This team is a multi-disciplinary environment of system engineers, data scientists and test engineers dedicated to advancing the knowledge of robotics/automation and how millions of customer orders are fulfilled every day.

Job Description:
This role will be supporting our clients Packaging group and will join the Systems Engineering, Integration and Testing team. This team is a multi-disciplinary environment of system engineers, data scientists and test engineers dedicated to advancing the knowledge of robotics/automation and how millions of customer orders are fulfilled every day.
- You will be supporting multiple, automated packaging systems including a Universal Item Sorter (UIS), Universal Smart Paper (USP) and a Bundling machine.
- The purpose of this role is to advance the limits of the automation equipment's capabilities and you will observe, record data, and conduct root cause analysis on the performance of the machinery during testing and development.
- Responsible for providing hands-on support during runs on new technology.
- This includes recording and analyzing test run data, making observations on machine performance and output, coordinating logistics and preparing test articles.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis including but not limited to identifying equipment faults, processing issues, item disruption, material issues, and more.
- Participate in equipment analysis and troubleshooting including mechatronics issues.
Experience
- BS Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
- 0-2 years of experience
- Comfortable travelling
