Major Duties :1. Provide planning, development, organization, monitoring, oversight and delivery of services and projects. Develops quality deliverables including codes, unit tests, and support documentation.

2. Provide application architectural and big picture oversight for development of new or enhanced technology solutions

3. Assists architect in the technical design and other team members with their development efforts. Technical support through Development, Testing, and Deployment phases of projects

4. Reviews documents, processes or procedures, and recommends where automation or improvements can be implemented

5. Ensures that all supported systems and applications maintain the availability standard

6. Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise

7. Focus of role is on execution of strategic direction of business function activities

8. Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues

9. Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity

Knowledge :Excellent oral and written communication skills are required

Knowledge of information security, software development, database systems and information technology concepts; strong knowledge of IDM industry standards, awareness and understanding of IDM products in the market

Analytical and problem solving skills

Highly flexible and adaptable to change

Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staff. Experience managing teams including architects, developers, QA, consultants etc., in large cross-functional team setting and large complex project scope

Experience :A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required. Industry certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, Cisco, SANS, etc is preferred. Strong enterprise technology experience involving J2EE stack, PCF cloud based architecture, DB Modeling. Experience in implementing IDM use cases like Identity processing, Access request, Access certification, Approval workflows, Provisioning connectors (like AD, LDAP, Exchange) etc.

Salary Range:
$137,400 - 233,600 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
