ServiceNow Sr. Technical Lead ITOM for Remote
Summary
The ServiceNow Senior Technical Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing IT operations management solutions using the ServiceNow platform. The role would collaborate with clients, business analysts, and project managers to comprehend the business requirements and design and implement the solution. Also provide technical guidance, and best practices to the development team and ensures the quality and performance of the delivered solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop ITOM solutions using ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, CMDB and other related modules.
- Well versed with implementation of Certificate Inventory Management in ServiceNow.
- Lead and participate in workshops, requirement sessions, design reviews, and testing sessions with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations on ITOM processes, integrations, configurations, customizations, and enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with ServiceNow coding standards, design principles, and best practices.
- Perform code reviews, and quality assurance of the ITOM solutions.
- Support the deployment, migration, and upgrade of the ITOM solutions across different environments.
- Provide technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex ITOM issues and defects.
- Mentor junior developers on the team.
- Stay updated with the latest ITOM trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration.
- At least 5 years of hand-on development and configuration experience in ServiceNow ITOM modules - Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management and CMDB and Certificate Inventory Management.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Discovery and Service Mapping modules.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL and ITOM frameworks and processes.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, architecture, and best practices.
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, and other web technologies.
- Experience in integrating ServiceNow with various IT systems and tools using MID Server, web services, APIs, etc.
- Experience in working with Agile and DevOps methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to travel as required by the project.
