Role: SQL Developer
Locations: Warren, NJ (Fully Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Note: Candidate needs to be in the office 5 Days every week. Local or candidates from Nearby states only.
Job Description:
- Lead and guide developers responsible for ETL development, data pipelines, and data warehouse loads.
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Build and maintain workflows for data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and transfer using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL.
- Demonstrated Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and above including managing databases.
- Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft SSIS to create and deploy packages and deploy for ETL processes.
- Demonstrated experience around writing and troubleshooting T-SQL statements, creating stored procedures, views, and SQL functions.
- Understands different data models like normalized, de-normalized, stars, and snowflake models.
- Strong SQL coding experience with performance optimization experience for data queries.
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in fast paced, rapidly changing, and complex environment.
- Work with team members to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely fashion.
- Analyse problems and communicate with stake holders to assess needs and determine optimal solutions.
- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Experience using Azure Devops and CICD pipeline for deployments
- Strong understanding of data structures and formats such as JSON and XML and SSIS Scripting.
