This is a Contract position based out of Spartanburg, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. What You'll Do
- Install and terminate coax, UTP, fiber-optic, DAS, AV, and access control systems.
- Lay out cable pathways and ensure compliance with standards.
- Perform copper and fiber testing and troubleshooting.
- Interpret blueprints and execute job plans under the direction of the Lead Technician and Foreman.
- Install racks, cabinets, cable supports, and electronic equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Report daily progress and assist with material tracking.
- Promote safety and professionalism on every job site.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 1-2 years in low-voltage installation within commercial construction.
- Skills: Ability to read blueprints, follow plans, and troubleshoot systems.
- Certifications: OSHA 10 required; manufacturer certifications a plus.
- Tech Savvy: Basic smartphone/tablet use, Office 365, SmartSheet.
- Requirements: Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
