Signals and Protocol Analyst
The Opportunity:
Do you have strong analytic skills and a problem-solving mindset? Are you looking for an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters, protect our national security, and inform our nation's leaders? As a Signals and Protocol Analyst, you will use your spe cia lized technical experience to combine electronic intelligence ( ELINT ) with other INTs, including communications intelligence ( COMINT ) , radar intelligence ( RADINT ) , foreign instrumentation signals intelligence ( FISINT ) , and collateral data, to form a comprehensive understanding of emitters and asso cia ted systems of interest. You will provide your clients with the intelligence and context they need to integrate new capabilities and functionalities into the signals intelligence ( SIGINT ) collection architecture.
As a subject matter expert on our team, you will make critical recommendations and assist your clients in understanding their operational landscape and mission environments. Using your knowledge of various collection platforms, you will explore new data sources to develop innovative tradecraft and analytic techniques in support of mission optimization. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 6+ years of experience in signals analysis, collection systems and operations, and processing and exploitation
- Experience with ELINT, FISINT, Telemetry, or PROFORMA technical analysis
- Ability to evaluate new analytics, collection tools, and techniques and tools
- Ability to provide interpretive Tech SIGINT analytic support to other analysts and the team on new or emerging systems of interest
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with ELINT tools and databases, including XMIDAS, ASPEN, FLEXIBLEFLYER, CED, AIRS, WRANGLER, and GALE-Lite
- Knowledge of processes and tools related to technical ELINT
- Knowledge of multiple analysis and collection tools and processes
- Ability to evaluate system inaccuracies and enable system accuracy improvements
- Completion of 3810 or 4810 National Cryptologic School Course
- Completion of 450, 451, or 452 Communications Signals Analysis Course
