Job Details

Job Title: Ping Developer
Location: Mountain View, CA or San Diego, CA
Duration: Long-term Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Ping Identity platform (PingFederate, PingAccess, PingID).
  • Provide Ping administration and support, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • Implement and configure Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations for enterprise applications.
  • Manage application onboarding activities to the Ping Identity platform.
  • Lead and support Identity Provider (IdP) migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
  • Develop automation scripts and custom solutions using Java and Python to enhance identity services.
  • Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to ensure identity and access management solutions meet business and compliance requirements.
  • Document technical configurations, workflows, and support procedures for long-term maintainability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Ping Identity solutions (PingFederate, PingAccess, PingID).
  • Proven expertise in SSO, federation protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC).
  • Hands-on experience in application onboarding and IdP migrations.
  • Proficiency in Java and Python for development and automation.
  • Solid understanding of IAM concepts, identity lifecycle management, and authentication/authorization frameworks.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Okta, ForgeRock, or other IAM platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud identity integrations (AWS, Azure AD, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Knowledge of security compliance and governance best practices.
