SAP MDG Senior Architect

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) Senior Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise master data management solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in SAP MDG, strong integration experience across SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, CO, etc.), and a proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of SAP MDG solutions aligned with enterprise data governance strategy.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze master data processes and define governance models for materials, customers, vendors, and finance objects.
* Define and enforce data standards, validation rules, and workflow approvals within MDG.
* Design and manage data replication, integration, and harmonization across SAP and non-SAP systems.
* Oversee data quality management and establish best practices for stewardship and ongoing monitoring.
* Work with functional and technical teams to deliver end-to-end MDG implementations (data modeling, UI configuration, BRF+, workflow, and Fiori).
* Provide thought leadership on data governance best practices and emerging SAP technologies (MDG on S/4HANA, Central Finance integration, etc.).
* Participate in cut-over planning, testing, and post-go-live support to ensure successful adoption and sustainability.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with MDG on S/4HANA 2020+ versions.
* Familiarity with data migration tools (SAP Data Services, LTMC, LSMW).
* Knowledge of Central Finance, SAP Analytics Cloud, or BTP integration is a plus.
* SAP MDG or SAP Data Management certification preferred.
