Summary of the Position
- Serving on the A&F IT/OSD technical team and being involved with the database and application design and development via using .NET Core, C#, MVC, JSON, and jQuery.
- Enhancing the CUG (Contract User Guide) and SWC (Statewide Contract) index application.
- Validating data from multiple sources for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Identifying and documenting data issues and collaborating with business stakeholders to resolve them.
- Testing the application to ensure compliance with accessibility requirements.
- Documenting end-to-end processes and data flows.
- Following established business, technical and project policies and guidelines aligned with EOTSS principles and standards to include the following: use of best practices, meeting management, project plans, status reports and dashboards, risk and issue tracking, change requests and resource management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#, MVC, JSON, and jQuery.
- Minimum 5 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Must possess expert programming and troubleshooting skills.
- Must possess expert performance tuning skills and dynamic SQL skills.
- Must be willing to jump into other s code at any time to solve the problem.
- Experience and understanding with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol.
- Ability to communicate with technical and business resources at many levels in a manner that supports progress and success.
- Ability to understand, appreciate and adapt to new business cultures and ways of working.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
