The Global Trade Digital Technology (DT) Manager (individual contributor) shall support all business functions of our Advanced Structures Digital Technology Program. This individual will be responsible for providing digital technology expertise including reviewing digital tools/applications, providing DT policy guidance, support to investigations, and executing implementation strategies. The individual will ensure consistency of DT practices and guidance to operations sites across the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) globally and will interpret and execute Digital Technology and Global Trade policies and procedures.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. This role will be working onsite in Dallas Fort-Worth, TX.
What You Will Do:
- Represent Advanced Structures for digital tools/applications implementation
- Conduct Global Trade Assessments (GTA) of information systems
- Support the maturation of the GTA process - design, implement enhancements
- Be responsible for a team of GTA Reviewers, and delegate GTA's to the reviewer team - support/mentor/coordinate GTA reviewers
- Maintain statistical metrics and dashboards on Digital Technology (DT) status, progress
- Review all Advanced Structures digital tools and applications and provide DT policy and guidance (new and legacy)
- Work with DT partners and business partners to integrate Global Trade (GT) controls in information systems
- Partnering with their SBU DT Business Relationship Manager (BRM), to flag new DT projects which may be problematic, complex, or will need more hands-on support
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, to continue to safeguard our Technical Data
- Work with DT applications, Archer, One Trust, Sharepoint, O365
- Support investigations, corrective actions, and voluntary disclosures for compliance escapes
- Provide guidance to functional teams regarding DT policy on new information systems
- Support CLARAs, Elevated Web Browsing Risk Reviews, requests for RTX Rshare External Sites, Transactional Testing of GTAs, SAP GTS transition and Additional automation projects
- Travel up to 10%, domestic and international
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:
- Global Trade experience
- Experience with SAP/GTS, other ERP or PLM applications
Qualifications We Prefer:
- This position will be located in Dallas Fort-Worth, TX; candidate must be local to the site or relocate on their own. Relocation assistance is not supported for this role.
- 5+ years digital technology application in the aerospace industry
- Program Management experience
- Experience with digital tools/applications policy and procedures
- Ability to analyze and apply policy to various digital technology business processes and functions.
- Ability to apply program management skills and timelines to address issues to ensure best in class practices.
