What You'll Be Doing
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment including loaders, haul trucks, and excavators
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Inspect equipment for wear and damage, and document findings accurately
- Operate equipment to verify repairs and support plant operations as needed
- Collaborate with plant personnel to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize downtime
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair heavy mobile equipment
- Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Commitment to safety and adherence to maintenance protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
