RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Network Load Balance Engineer in Greenwood Village, CO.
Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on Network Engineer with strong experience in F5 load balancing and core networking protocols. This role focuses on building, configuring, and supporting load balancing solutions in a complex, high-availability environment. You will work directly with F5 technologies, routing protocols like BGP, and telecom-grade networking aligned with 3GPP standards.
Responsibilities:
* Implement, configure, and support F5 load balancing solutions (LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM, APM preferred)
* Troubleshoot and optimize application delivery and traffic flows across enterprise environments
* Support routing and switching with a focus on BGP and other core protocols
* Apply 3GPP standards and principles in telecom-based network environments
* Participate in network design discussions and assist with solution engineering
* Execute changes, upgrades, patches, and performance tuning efforts
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and secure network operations
* Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and network standards
REQUIREMENTS:
* Hands-on experience with F5 load balancers in enterprise or carrier-grade environments
* Strong understanding of BGP and core networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VLANs, SSL, routing protocols, etc.)
* Exposure to 3GPP networking concepts and telecom environments
* Solid troubleshooting skills with a methodical, detail-driven approach
* Experience with large-scale or mission-critical network environments
Preferred Skills:
* Certifications such as F5-CA, F5-CTS, CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent
* Scripting/automation skills (Python, Ansible, etc.)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
