Junior OneTrust Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior OneTrust Engineer to support and enhance our privacy and compliance operations. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience with OneTrust and Zendesk, and a keen interest in privacy program management, data subject rights (DSR) workflows, and risk mitigation. This role plays a key part in optimizing operational processes, identifying high-risk areas, and helping to build scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the execution and maintenance of data subject rights workflows in OneTrust, handling complex cases and escalations
• Work closely with Privacy and Legal teams to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risk within existing workflows and processes
• Assist with the development and enhancement of cookie consent flows and transparency management solutions utilizing OneTrust Cookie Compliance tools
• Support policy drafting and updates, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements
• Contribute to Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) processes, including documentation and stakeholder coordination
• Use Zendesk (and similar tools) to manage, track, and respond to privacy-related tickets and escalations
• Help develop and maintain privacy program metrics and dashboards, analyzing performance trends to inform operational decisions and forecasting
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations that enhance privacy controls and user transparency
• Collaborate cross-functionally to build stronger, more resilient privacy infrastructure and capabilities

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1–3 years of experience including work with OneTrust and/or Zendesk
• Understanding of data subject rights (DSR) and experience supporting associated workflows
• Demonstrated ability to identify risk areas in operational processes and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Familiarity with privacy concepts such as cookie consent, transparency management, and privacy impact assessments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience contributing to policy documentation a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA
• Hands-on experience with OneTrust Cookie Compliance module
• Previous exposure to legal operations, privacy compliance, or GRC tools
• Experience managing privacy support tickets and escalations via Zendesk or equivalent systems
