Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, build, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, with a primary focus on Terraform.
• Automate infrastructure deployments and operational tasks using Python to streamline and enhance productivity.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications, ensuring secure and reliable deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective Azure cloud integration and support.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure cloud resources to maintain high availability and performance.
• Continuously explore and implement emerging cloud technologies and best practices to improve cloud service delivery.

Required Education, Experience, and Soft Skills

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud engineering and automation.
• Demonstrated expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for task automation and infrastructure management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, capable of clearly explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Adaptable, motivated, and eager to innovate and improve cloud systems.

Technical Skills

Infrastructure as Code and Automation

• Advanced proficiency in Terraform for Azure infrastructure deployments.
• Strong Python programming skills for scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Experienced in managing code repositories using Git.
• Comfortable working in fully automated, code-centric projects.

Azure Cloud Platforms & Services

• Solid understanding of Azure cloud services, including Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, App Services, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, Azure AD, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps services, including Pipelines, Repos, and Boards.

Operating Systems

• Proficiency with Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server.
• Familiarity with shell scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell).

Networking

• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, Load Balancing, and Firewall concepts.
• Practical experience with Azure Networking components (Virtual Networks, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway).

Certifications Preferred:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
