Job Description/ Responsibilities:

• Data Modeling:
• Design and develop data models, including InfoObjects, InfoCubes, Data Sources, and ODS objects.
• Optimize data models for performance and data quality.
• Implement data partitioning, indexing, and other optimization techniques.
• ETL Development:
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using ETL tools (e.g., Open Hub Destination, Data Services).
• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA, non-SAP systems) into the BW/4HANA data warehouse.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy throughout the ETL process.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analyses using BW/4HANA tools (e.g., BEx Analyzer, Web Intelligence).
• Create and maintain user-defined functions (UDFs) for complex calculations.
• Assist in the creation of data visualizations and interactive reports.
• Performance Tuning:
• Analyze query performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Implement performance tuning techniques to improve query response times.
• Monitor system performance and take corrective actions.
• Project Implementation:
• Participate in BW/4HANA implementation projects.
• Coordinate with business users, data architects, and other team members.
• Ensure successful project delivery within timelines and budget.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP BW/4HANA development.
• Hands-on experience with BW/4HANA data modeling, ETL development, and reporting.
• Experience with SAP HANA database is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
