Location: Burbank, CA (Hybrid)

What We Do/Project
The role of a Sr. Business Analyst for content licensing systems involves acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders (such as Sales Planning, Sales Admin, Contract Admin, Finance and Legal teams) and our technical teams to ensure systems effectively manage the process of licensing media content.
Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to document needs and convert them into functional specifications, user stories with concise and clear acceptance criteria.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers/ Product Owners, UI/UX Designer, Technical Teams, Business Users.
- Artifacts Creation: User stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and wireframes.
Must Have Skills / Requirements
- Strong ability to elicit requirements from stakeholders and End Users.
- 5+ years of experience; Strong documentation skills for complex user stories.
- Ability to analyze current business processes and recommend future state approaches to solution.
- 5+ years of experience; Process improvement.
- Ability to connect business goals with technology solutions.
- 5+ years of experience.
Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements
- Media and Entertainment experience.
Soft Skills:
- Strong Analytical Skills - The ability to analyze large datasets, complex business processes and perform deep-dive analysis and translate data into business insights.
