Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Ensuring safe and efficient operation of plant processes by designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable instrumentation and control systems.
- Resolve instrumentation problems, address process issues, tune control loops, and conduct functional ESD checks.
- Execute minor project upgrades (instrumentation and control loops).
- Capital projects support for instrumentation and controls in the areas of design, installation, and commissioning.
- Perform configuration activities, manage alarms, and maintain operator graphics on the plant DCS.
- Develop and optimize Routine and Predictive Maintenance for existing and new instrumentation and analytical equipment while also reviewing past PM and recommend updates.
- Manage the calibration requirements of plant quality critical instrumentation and serve as the ISO Coordinator for facility maintenance.
- Conduct training for the instrument maintenance team to grow skills.
- Maintain close working relationships with leadership, production, maintenance, EHS and third-party contractors/consultants.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Chemical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 10 years of experience working with process instrumentation and control systems.
- Proven experience with process instrumentation and control systems.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, motivated, results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and strong oral and written communication skills.
