About the Role

Are you a senior-level System Administrator who's passionate about designing high-performing infrastructure, leading cloud transformation, and solving complex IT challenges?

We're looking for a tech-savvy problem-solver and infrastructure architect to own and optimize our core systems-including cloud platforms, networks, and enterprise applications. You'll be the go-to expert, mentor, and strategic contributor in a growing IT department that values innovation, collaboration, and impact.

Compensation: $75,000-85,000

What you'll do:

  • Be the escalation point for complex technical issues and mentor IT operations team members.
  • Optimize our environment using automation tools like PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
  • Oversee security, system hardening, and disaster recovery initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support growth, office expansions, and cloud migrations.
  • Drive strategic IT projects, build resilient systems, and ensure 24/7 availability.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve potential disruptions.
  • Document everything from architecture to SOPs to ensure seamless operations and knowledge sharing.

What you'll Bring:
  • 3+ years in system administration, IT infrastructure, and networking.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, Azure AD, and cloud services (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Deep understanding of networking (Meraki SD-WAN, VLANs, routing protocols, VPNs).
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and enterprise storage.
  • Proven track record of improving uptime, performance, and security.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and a "figure-it-out" mindset.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
  • Certifications like CCNP, MCSE, CISSP, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect.
  • Experience with Zero Trust security models, containerization, and DevOps tools.
  • Knowledge of VoIP systems and cloud networking in distributed environments.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk).
  • Primarily office-based with occasional travel across the U.S.
  • Ability to move equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Regular movement around the office and periods of extended computer use.

Benefits: Employees and their families are eligible to enroll in:
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision
  • Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Company Sponsored Life Insurance
