RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Plano, TX that is seeking a Learning and Development Instructional Designer.

Responsibilities:
* Apply instructional design best practices (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) to create effective and engaging learning experiences
* Utilize various authoring tools to create eLearning courses, videos, simulations, interactive activities, and instructor-led lessons
* Develop end-to-end learning experiences that enable our Operations team to quickly onboard and upskill on complex workflows
* Collaborate with stakeholders and subject-matter experts to align instructional design methodologies with business objectives, foster a culture of continuous learning, and support learning development initiatives
* Manage competing project tasks and timelines with strong organizational and time-management skills
* Conduct regular needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs; Leverage said data to design innovative and effective learning solutions
* Design performance-based courses aligned to identified objectives and target population characteristics
* Work flexible hours to support the development and delivery of workshops, which may exceed the typical workday
* Consistently exhibit a positive outlook and collaborate in a highly engaged fashion with other team members

REQUIREMENTS:
* Undergraduate degree in instructional design technology, education, communication, English, technical writing, or any discipline requiring mastery of written communication skills or equivalent experience required
* 2+ years of work experience in adult learning/education design and development, instructional design or similar capacity
* Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia, Vyond , Synthesia)
* Strong writing, editing, and content structuring skills
* Deep instructional design knowledge and the ability to convey the complex ID theories to internal stakeholders in a way that they can consume, and support
* Proven e-learning design and development experience and experience with designing, developing, delivering and evaluating blended learning courses/lessons
* Familiarity with LMS platforms and SCORM/xAPI standards
* Proven Instructional Design skills including the ability to write and manage terminal and enabling learning objectives in content, build design documents, and author content from scratch

Nice to have:
* Bonus: 1-2 years of experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or multi-site organizations
* Bonus: Experience with Financial Services and Risk Methodology skills
* Proven Multimedia Development experience including eLearning authoring (Articulate Storyline and Rise), animation (Vyond, Adobe Animate, or Adobe After Effects), video (Synthesia, Adobe Premiere, or Camtasia), AI Authoring tools are a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
