Job Details
EMC Validation Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite, 5 days per week)
Objective / Project Overview:
The team will provide comprehensive EMC validation support to project DRIs within the EMC Design Engineering team. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating closely with EMC Design DRIs to develop and refine EMC test plans.
- Developing and pre-verifying EMC test scripts in conjunction with relevant system module DRIs.
- Managing unreleased hardware sample inventory including picking up/returning, performing software updates and preparing samples for testing.
- Partnering with EMC Test Engineers to oversee validation activities and track progress, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Compiling detailed validation reports and providing regular progress updates to the EMC Design DRIs.
Must have skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering adjacent or equivalent experience.
- Highly organized, capable of managing extensive hardware sample inventories and numerous validation tasks.
- Skilled in following SOPs for preparation of prototype hardware for EMC testing including software configuration, setting adjustments, and test script validation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with proven experience in generating comprehensive technical reports.
Desired:
- 3 years of industry experience, including engineering validation and project management.
- Proficiency in Matlab and Python scripting for test automation and data analysis.
