Job Details

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to backfill a critical role during a special pop-up initiative. The contractor will support our Data & Analytics (D&A) team by building curated data products that enable analysts to deliver business insights.

You will work closely with a Product Manager and Analytics Consultant, contributing both independently and through pair programming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build ETL pipelines to transform source data into curated datasets

  • Develop data solutions using Python, AWS, and Snowflake

  • Collaborate with analysts to support data exploration and AWS services usage

  • Maintain and version code using GitHub

  • Partner with multiple enterprise teams to consume and share data effectively

Technologies Used

  • Python

  • AWS

  • Snowflake

  • SQL

  • GitHub

  • (Limited legacy exposure to Informatica – not core)

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Python

  • Hands-on experience with AWS

  • Proficiency in SQL

  • Experience using GitHub for version control

Nice to Have

  • Data extraction via APIs

  • Strong Snowflake experience

  • Data modeling tools (Erwin)
