Senior Systems Architect

Randstad Digital is actively seeking a Senior Systems Architect to support development of an internal application, which is part of a long-term project.

Job Duties -

Work with the business and product owners to ensure development is driving towards business requirements and strategic objective.

Work with the technical leadership team and fellow architects to ensure architectures are aligned with overall strategy.

Provide support, KT, and oversight to Agile teams. This may include ensuring architectural approach is followed, removing blockers, coordinating multi-team sessions to address integration challenges, reviewing PRs and preparing business and technical requirements documentation.

Ability to lead and develop POCs to evaluate or prototype new approaches, technologies or services.

Upskill developers and tech leads when possible.

Ability to work with tight deadlines.

Ability to work on high profile business critical projects.

Job Requirements -

14+ years of experience in software development with proven expertise in all aspects of the SDLC.

8+ years of experience as a technical lead or systems architect

2+ years of experience working in an enterprise software development environment

Strong organizational, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with Business Sponsors, Product Owners and Tech Executives to understand strategic direction, priorities, business objectives and ensure alignment.

Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and Tech Leads to ensure tactical alignment, coordination and delivery of the architecture and strategic objectives.

Proven expertise in providing implementation guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices, including driving quality through code reviews and feedback.

Ability to identify and mitigate technical risks associated with new initiatives, leveraging technical foresight.

Focus on holistic system architecture, collaborating with multiple teams to ensure consistency, alignment, and a cohesive architectural vision across the organization.

Proficiency in conducting Proof of Concepts (POC) and research activities to explore and evaluate new technologies, frameworks, or approaches.

4+ years of experience with React, Redux, SCSS, and TypeScript.

8+ years of experience with .NET Core / C#.

12+ years of experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, including SQL Server, Azure SQL, Redis, and MongoDB.

2+ years of experience working with microservice architecture

Experience working with micro front end (MFE) architecture

Working knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure preferred)

Desired Skills & Experience -

Experience in microservices architecture, including development, deployment, and maintenance

Experience with message based frameworks and concepts

Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code

Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker

Experience with Azure DevOps, GIT
