The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Engineering Technical Support Tech to join our team in North Charleston, SC.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and technical support for training of K and L level managers within the Engineering function.
- Develop and maintain products, processes, and documentation to gauge and enhance the productivity of the engineering functions (ie: SharePoint, Power BI dashboards, databases, etc). Utilize that data to provide information and intelligence to the leadership team.
- Support the execution of standard on-the-job training and development programs for engineering function at BSC (includes KEYS rotational program, intern programs, Lean OPD)
- Compiles, analyzes, develops and formats data by utilizing engineering standards, processes and computational tools to provide documentation that assists customers in the development of engineering life cycle products, services and processes.
- Analyzes products to verify regulatory conformance and contractual compliance.
- Maintains and improves products (e.g., engineering data, spreadsheets, websites, and documentation), processes and services to ensure consistent quality of data used to accomplish engineering tasks.
- Creates and maintains design documentation by using company/industry standards to communicate the end product to customers.
- Develops and maintains engineering related user documentation to support the design of engineering systems.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 3 or more years' experience in Project Management/ portfolio management.
- 3 or more years' experience using basic Microsoft Suite.
- 3 or more years' experience in Data Analytics.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or greater
- Experience with server management, SharePoint, and dashboards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Boeing Systems and Engineering Processes
